Update slated on aviation regulations

Buffalo Niagara Travel Professionals will meet at 5:15 p.m. Tuesday, March 4, at Sean Patrick’s, 3480 Millersport Highway, Getzville. Susan Bourque and Karen Eckert will give an update on aviation regulations. As members of Families of Flight 3407, their efforts have resulted in new regulations to ensure that all airlines meet higher safety standards. The evening includes a buffet dinner, presentation, and question and answer session with the audience. The cost is $40, and registration is required. Small business workshop planned for March 4

Sponsored by the Small Business Association and Buffalo Niagara SCORE, Straight Talk, a workshop for those in business or interested in small business education, training, counseling and networking will be held from 5:45 to 8:30 p.m. Tuesday, March 4, at Medaille College’s Main Building auditorium, 18 Agassiz Circle, Buffalo. Part of an eight-event series, Straight Talk is held every Tuesday. Registration is required and is $5 per seminar and free for veterans or with a Jan. 18 attendance. Progressive dinner to provide networking

The National Association of Women Business Owners will host “Each One Reach One,” a progressive dinner for women business owners and professionals. Women change tables after each of three courses and network with a new group each time. Networking starts at 5 p.m., with dinner at 6 p.m. and informal networking at 7:30 p.m. at Windows on the Green at Westwood Country Club, 772 N. Forest Road, Williamsville.
