1) If a bona fide bid is duly submitted for a Contract in accordance with the requirements contained in the Plans and Specifications and said copy(s) of the Plans and Specifications is/are returned in good condition within thirty (30) days following the award of the Contract or rejection of the bids, the amount of the deposit return shall be as follows:

NOTICE IS ALSO GIVEN that a qualified voter may request an application for an absentee ballot at the office of the Clerk of the District, 55 Kings Highway, Amherst, New York. A completed application must be received by the District Clerk at least seven (7) days before the election if the ballot is to be mailed to the voter, or the day before the election, if the ballot is to be personally delivered by the voter. The absentee ballot of a voter who requests such a ballot by signed letter, rather than by application, shall not be counted unless a valid application form, signed by such voter, is reviewed by the District Clerk with such ballot.

A list of all persons to whom absentee ballots have been issued will be maintained in the office of the District Clerk and made available for public inspection during regular office hours on each of the five days prior to the day of the vote. Such list will also be posted at the polling place at the Annual District Vote and Election of Members of the Board of Education. No absentee voter's ballot will be counted unless it is received in the office of the District Clerk by 5:00 PM on the day of the election (5/20/08).

Any qualified voter may file a written challenge to the qualifications of any person whose name appears on the list of absentee voters. Such challenge shall state the grounds for making such challenge and shall be submitted to the Inspector of Elections before the close of the polls.
