BPOvations, free talks given by Buffalo Philharmonic Orchestra musicians and staff at area libraries, will be presented at the Audubon branch at 7 p.m. Monday, Oct. 24, and will feature Rob Deemer in a talk titled “Writ- ing a Concerto for Orchestra.”

Make a pomander presented by the Smallwood Garden Club will be held from 1 to 2 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 5, for children ages 5 to 12. They will be able to make a sweet-smelling pomander ornament using cloves and a lemon or lime just like in Victorian times.

Celebrate fall on the farm through stories, crafts and fun activities at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday, Nov. 8

A coloring club for adults will meet from 10 a.m. to noon Saturday, Oct. 15 and 29, and Nov. 12. Coloring sheets and supplies will be provided; attendees are also welcome to bring their own. Register at the librarian’s desk or by calling 689-4922.

Stories from the Pumpkin Patch presented by the Wondermakers will be presented at 6:30 p.m. Monday, Nov. 14, for children ages 5 to 10 and their families.

These events will be held at Clearfield Library, 770 Hopkins Road. Call 688-4955.

Celebrate fall on the farm through stories, crafts and fun activities at 11 a.m. Thursday, Oct. 20. Magical creatures: unicorns, dragons and ogres — Oh my! Stories, crafts and games will be exploring the world of magical creatures at 2 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 22.

These events will be held at the Williamsville Library, 5571 Main St. Call 632-6176.

Sherry the Scarecrow will visit the library at 6:30 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 15.
